Deri Fawr
We have walked in many places in the world but believe Isle of Anglesey is one of the best walking destinations; it is Britain’s best kept secret.
If you walk the Coastal Footpath 125 miles most within Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty you will pass by three nature reserves, 25% of Wales award winning beaches and ascend 13,695 ft. You are likely to see dolphins, seals, peregrine falcons, buzzards, cormorants, puffins, terns, kingfishers, choughs, egrets, ducks, geese and swans, The RSPB has a dozen sites on Anglesey and it is a premier site for migrants. That then leaves you the remaining 550 miles of footpath away from the coast, where you can wander over the unspoiled countryside that is Anglesey. Your accommodation will be four stars and you can return each night to your own comfortable place where you can relax in the peace that is Deri Fawr.

Mountains can mean many things to people; a sanctuary from city life, a visual feast, a physical challenge, a fulfilling pastime, or somewhere to recharge the batteries. Along with the history, folklore, geology, flora and fauna of an area such as Snowdonia, you have a very special place, which has been drawing visitors since the 18th century and the development of the railways. Many people are happy to wander the beautiful valleys, but if the idea of standing up above on the summits or climbing some of our rock faces appeals, then come and join us, you won't regret it.
